Senior Counsel, AI and Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a proactive legal advisor and consultant supporting the company's initiatives in artificial intelligence (AI) and data.

• Offer legal counsel and risk evaluations concerning the use of AI and data throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to assess AI application scenarios.

• Deliver clear and practical legal advice for the responsible and compliant implementation of AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• 10 to 12+ years of pertinent legal experience, including a background in advising on technology, AI, data, or intellectual property issues.

• Strong proficiency in evaluating legal concerns related to AI, data, and emerging technologies.

• Proven track record of independently managing complex, cross-functional legal matters and driving them to resolution.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
