Senior Corporate Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and support the execution of passwordless authentication and Zero Trust principles within an Identity-Centric Security Architecture.

• Oversee secure provisioning and lifecycle management, ensuring least-privilege access across all organizational systems.

• Collaborate with HR and IT to enhance onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring prompt access revocation and audit compliance.

• Establish and uphold security baselines for our varied fleet of endpoints (Windows, macOS) and mobile devices through MDM (Intune/Jamf).

• Manage and optimize EDR/XDR solutions to guarantee high-fidelity detection on workstations and servers (Windows, Linux, macOS).

• Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities in our corporate environment, performing regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

• Direct incident response efforts for corporate security incidents such as phishing, malware, and lost devices.

• Create automation scripts (Python/PowerShell) and workflows (SOAR) to streamline manual security tasks, evidence gathering, and response procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of practical experience in Corporate Security, IT Security Engineering, or a SOC role within a cloud-first setting.

• Endpoint Expertise: Proven experience in hardening operating systems (macOS/Windows) and managing security through MDM/UEM tools.

• Vulnerability Management: Demonstrated experience assisting IT and business teams in patching systems and infrastructure.

• Coding Proficiency: Skilled in Python and Terraform for automating APIs and security workflows.

• Security Operations: Established experience with EDR tools and SIEM log analysis.

• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with the capability to convey complex risks to non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to influence and promote security best practices across non-security teams.

• Familiarity with security awareness training platforms and phishing simulation tools.
