This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of written content across various platforms, including websites, campaigns, emails, landing pages, social media, paid placements, and marketing materials — encompassing blog articles, case studies, UX copy, support resources, and more.
• Craft, edit, and refine copy that inspires action — whether it's clicking, purchasing, signing up, or building trust.
• Conduct research on topics and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to generate precise and informed content.
• Create and uphold brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards — ensuring team alignment as products and priorities shift.
• Work closely with Product and Marketing teams on naming, positioning, and packaging for both new and existing products, features, and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain sales enablement resources for our Sales and Artist Partnerships teams — including one-sheets, objection handling guides, case studies, and pitch-ready materials that remain current as products and positioning evolve.
• Ensure content accuracy and relevance across all platforms — maintaining an organized library of sales materials and resources, along with regular updates to landing pages, help content, and other evergreen assets.
• Collaborate with the Editor of Hypebot (Bandsintown’s owned music industry publication) to identify story opportunities, syndicate Hypebot content across Bandsintown channels, and curate Bandsintown’s presence within the publication.
• Manage content operations comprehensively: from content planning, tools and workflows, to intake, prioritization, and reporting.
• Leverage Claude as a productivity enhancer — uphold brand voice, style guides, and messaging context in Claude to ensure every output is grounded correctly, pressure-test copy, explore different angles, and quality-assure output against our standards.
• 5–8+ years of experience in copywriting and content strategy.
• Knowledge of the music industry — capable of writing credibly for artists, promoters, and venues.
• A portfolio showcasing diversity across tones, formats, and audiences — including B2B and B2C, as well as long-form and short content.
• Data-driven mindset — understanding which content metrics are significant and why.
• Highly organized and methodical in managing a substantial volume of content — maintaining freshness and momentum without losing track of details.
• Strong proficiency in AI tools with keen instincts for when and how to enhance output.
