This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Conduct research, write, and take ownership of Carbonfuture's content, including market reports, guides, whitepapers, editorial series, and other innovative formats you believe can be developed and enhanced.
• Create thought leadership pieces and case studies that position Carbonfuture as a trusted, leading authority in the carbon removal sector.
• Cultivate and refine Carbonfuture's editorial voice, ensuring clarity, uniqueness, and narrative consistency across all public-facing materials.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and others in the climate, finance, and sustainability sectors, while proactively pitching relevant story ideas.
• Draft and disseminate press releases for significant company milestones and announcements.
• Monitor media coverage and continuously improve outreach strategies to engage the appropriate audiences.
• Prepare Carbonfuture experts and executives for panels, keynotes, and interviews by developing talking points, narrative briefs, and positioning strategies.
• Identify and assist in securing impactful speaking opportunities for the team.
• Create and produce digital formats (webinars, roundtables, etc.): from theme development and storyline creation to moderating live discussions.
• Contribute to content strategy and storytelling for Carbonfuture-hosted events; occasionally moderate panels or discussions.
• Several years of experience (typically 5+ years) in a content, editorial, or communications capacity, preferably in a B2B or market-facing environment.
• Demonstrated success in producing high-quality long-form and short-form content; a strong portfolio is essential.
• Experience in public relations or media relations, with a proven ability to develop story angles and secure media coverage.
• A background in climate technology, sustainability, or carbon markets is a significant advantage; however, exceptional writers from related fields with a genuine interest in climate issues are encouraged to apply.
