📋 Description

• Assess study guides, evaluations, and educational materials for academic excellence, precision, and alignment with program objectives.

• Confirm that content meets institutional standards, curriculum needs, and NQF criteria.

• Analyze assessments to guarantee their validity, reliability, fairness, and academic rigor.

• Offer constructive academic feedback and suggestions for enhancement.

• Ensure that all materials are appropriate for distance and blended learning settings.

• Check for language precision, academic coherence, and suitable pedagogical strategies.

• Collaborate with program coordinators and academic teams throughout the review process.

• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and regulatory standards.

• Adhere to review timelines and provide revisions as necessary.

• In-depth knowledge of the Afrikaans language and teaching methodologies.

• Exceptional skills in academic writing, editing, and reviewing.

• Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment practices in higher education.

• Awareness of South African educational frameworks and language teaching contexts.

• Strong focus on detail and principles of quality assurance.

• Capability to work autonomously and meet stringent deadlines.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in digital platforms and online educational environments.

• A master’s degree in education, Afrikaans, Language Education, or a related field (mandatory).

• Minimum of two years’ experience in higher education, content development, assessment review, curriculum design, or academic editing.
