Senior Consultant – Technology Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Act as an analyst on a diverse array of technology risk initiatives, undertaking fieldwork and evaluating controls.

• Evaluate clients' technology environments, processes, and related risks, offering critical insights for strategic decision-making.

• Participate in program and control-level audits, assessments, and technical evaluations, producing findings and recommendations, and delivering actionable insights to clients.

• Assist Managing Consultants in promoting operational excellence by engaging in ongoing projects, including planning engagements, developing budgets, tracking progress, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.

• Build new client relationships and strengthen existing ones by utilizing a robust understanding of their business and delivering outstanding results.

• Play a role in developing and executing firm-approved, AI-driven solutions for clients, adhering to company policies regarding data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.

• Remain updated on emerging AI tools and methodologies and work with firm leadership to discover compliant opportunities that enhance client solutions and internal operations.

• Collaborate effectively with CrossCountry and client team members to tackle business challenges, explore potential solutions, and produce impactful deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in professional services in a client-facing capacity at an accounting or consulting firm, or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of technology risk domains and relevant industry frameworks and standards.

• Familiarity with AI: Proven ability to responsibly investigate and implement firm-approved AI tools to boost productivity and innovation.

• Continuous Learning Mindset: Willingness to learn and apply emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in line with firm policies and client expectations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical thinking capabilities.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
