Senior Consultant, Penetration Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Utilize your hacking expertise through penetration testing of web applications, mobile apps, and infrastructure, as well as participating in Red Teaming activities—both remotely and on-site at client locations.

• Provide detailed project reports outlining test findings and persuade clients with actionable recommendations to enhance their IT security posture.

• Engage with new topics regularly and stay informed about current technologies; assist in developing internal tools or systems and explore innovative tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

• Remain updated through company-sponsored conferences, training sessions, experiments, regular knowledge sharing, and collaborative internal Capture The Flag (CTF) and Hack The Box activities.

• Gain insights into related fields such as Incident Response/Forensics or configuration audits.

• Suggest new project ideas and actively contribute to strengthening and expanding our client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience with a comprehensive technical background across various domains (e.g., understanding network operations, operating system basics, cloud services, Active Directory, databases, firewalls, web technologies, and their common security challenges).

• Familiarity with intercepting proxies (e.g., Burp), command and control frameworks (e.g., Cobalt Strike), vulnerability scanners, and popular operating systems, along with a willingness to swiftly adapt to new tools.

• Demonstrated ability to produce reports and presentations in German, with a talent for clearly communicating technical information.

• A university degree or relevant professional experience in a related field, pertinent certifications, or self-directed knowledge with a desire to deepen subject-matter expertise.
