
Senior Consultant – Epic Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Configure and enhance Epic revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end functions.
• Provide support for multiple simultaneous Epic implementation or optimization projects.
• Evaluate current workflows and propose solutions enabled by Epic.
• Develop and test Epic configurations including Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications.
• Facilitate end-user training sessions and create training materials.
• Document technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations thoroughly.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams, client personnel, and technical resources.
• Assist in go-live activities, including command center support and issue resolution.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, coordinating with vendor and internal technical teams as necessary.
• Contribute to knowledge management and the documentation of best practices.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field).
• At least 4 years of experience in Epic revenue cycle, focusing on implementation, optimization, or analyst roles.
• Practical experience with configuring Epic revenue cycle applications.
• Familiarity with front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle functions.
• Experience with at least one complete Epic implementation or a significant optimization project.
• Strong understanding of Epic revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using Epic reporting and analytics tools.
• Ability to configure Epic workflows, rules, and system settings effectively.
