Senior Consultant – AI & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI and ML solutions to enhance Astreya’s IT managed services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint AI/ML integration opportunities.

• Create and maintain scalable AI/ML models aimed at predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and automated incident response.

• Implement NLP solutions for service desk operations and customer interactions.

• Develop and optimize algorithms for data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

• Engage in computer vision projects related to IT asset management and security surveillance.

• Create AI-driven automation for network management and cybersecurity threat detection.

• Investigate emerging AI/ML technologies and methodologies.

• Collaborate with data engineers to establish high-quality AI/ML data pipelines.

• Participate in the requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment processes.

• Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and best practices.

• Ensure that AI/ML solutions adhere to industry standards and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to AI/ML development.

• Strong expertise in Python or Java.

• Extensive experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Experience in deep learning, neural networks, and large language models (LLMs).

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and their respective AI/ML services.

• Background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and mathematics.

• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.

• Preferred: Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or ML.

• Preferred: AI/ML experience in IT operations, network management, or cybersecurity.

• Preferred: Familiarity with MLOps, Hadoop, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, open-source contributions, research publications, and knowledge of ethical AI.
