Senior Construction Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine inspections across multiple construction disciplines.

• Carry out visual inspections and monitor on-site testing activities.

• Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship meets standards.

• Record construction progress and adherence to compliance requirements.

• Generate comprehensive daily inspection reports.

• Relay observations, issues, and findings to engineering and project management teams.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to offer technical insights and recommendations regarding field-related challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• An associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology is preferred.

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in construction inspection.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory violation history may be required.

• Successful completion of relevant internal safety certifications.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Strongly preferred experience with rail transportation projects, including track, signals, traction power, structures, or major civil infrastructure.

• Possession of four or more certifications in various areas, including ICC and ACI certifications.
