This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Take charge of developing and maintaining compliance dashboards, recurring regulatory reports, and analytical views using BI tools such as Tableau, Metabase, or similar platforms to facilitate regulatory, operational, and compliance risk monitoring requirements.
• Create and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, validate, aggregate, and transform compliance-related data from various systems for ad hoc analysis, reporting, and monitoring activities.
• Perform in-depth analyses on compliance trends, transactional patterns, and user behavior across cards and payments to uncover anomalies, control deficiencies, operational hurdles, and emerging risks.
• Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring efforts by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across source systems.
• Develop and enhance segmentation, cohort, and trend analyses to assist Compliance and business teams in gaining insights into customer behavior, risk trends, and control effectiveness.
• Examine transactional patterns and user behavior in cards and payments to enhance operational tools, inform and scale processes such as onboarding and transactional monitoring, and promote growth by identifying and eliminating obstacles in the customer journey.
• Collaborate in a continuous feedback loop with Data Product Managers and Data Engineers to refine analytical methodologies, enhance data quality, and evolve reporting and data models.
• Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Compliance, onboarding Operations, Product, and leadership teams.
• Contribute to process enhancements and automation initiatives that support self-service analytics and scalable reporting.
• Analyze onboarding funnels, client risk profiles, transactional patterns, and user behavior across cards and payments to pinpoint friction points, reduce drop-offs, and enhance customer onboarding and operational efficiency.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related field such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or Business.
• 6-8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, compliance analytics, payments analytics, or a comparable role.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Experience in creating dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or similar tools.
• A strong analytical mindset with experience in trend analysis, segmentation, cohort analysis, and data quality validation.
• A solid understanding of compliance, risk, regulatory reporting, or financial controls is highly desirable.
• Experience with analyzing cards, payments, or transaction-level data is strongly preferred, particularly in contexts involving operational decision-making or customer growth.
• Ability to articulate complex analytical concepts in clear and concise language for non-technical audiences.
