
Senior Cloud Vulnerability Response Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify, assess, and address vulnerabilities within cloud-based systems.
β’ Monitor cloud environments for security breaches and take action in response to security incidents.
β’ Conduct security evaluations and vulnerability assessments.
β’ Develop, execute, and uphold cloud security protocols, standards, and procedures.
β’ Perform gap analyses on cloud security controls and risk management processes.
β’ Design and implement risk management initiatives for cloud assets.
β’ Utilize and enhance cloud security tools to detect, prevent, and respond to threats.
β’ Collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure security controls align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
β’ Provide expert guidance on cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
β’ Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, and security trends to enhance cloud defense capabilities.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity.
β’ At least three (3) years of experience specifically in cloud security and vulnerability management.
β’ Experience in supporting security incident responses and vulnerability remediation within cloud environments.
β’ Proven experience in implementing and maintaining cloud security controls and risk management programs.
β’ Strong knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
β’ Familiarity with AWS GuardDuty and Prisma Cloud.
β’ Knowledge of cloud-native security technologies and SIEM solutions.
β’ Experience in conducting security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and remediation planning.
β’ Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards.
β’ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
β’ Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security β Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, and CISSP.
