This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, maintain, and enhance server infrastructure hosted within public cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to facilitate application deployments, resolve complex system issues, and enhance infrastructure automation.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure across one or several major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Administer and provide support for Linux and/or Windows server environments, which includes patching, performance optimization, and system hardening.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and OS-level challenges to guarantee high availability and minimal downtime.
• Partner with application and DevOps teams to assist with deployments and ensure seamless integration into cloud environments.
• Implement and uphold automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
• Enhance infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and system resilience.
• Assist security and compliance initiatives by applying best practices for system access, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Engage in infrastructure migrations and modernization efforts across cloud platforms.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and continuously refine operational practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong practical experience with Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and/or Windows Server administration.
• Comprehensive understanding of public cloud concepts across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or similar).
• Proficient in configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong scripting capabilities (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with cloud networking fundamentals, security, and identity management concepts.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Proven experience supporting high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in a collaborative setting.
• Experience working across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Exposure to workload migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Relevant cloud or systems certifications from any major provider.
