Senior Cloud Software Engineer – Full-Stack

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain full-stack, cloud-based applications encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.

• Oversee the complete solution design process, including coding, code reviews, and integrations for enterprise-level applications.

• Create prototypes, proofs of concept (PoCs), and pilot projects; evolve successful solutions to production scale.

• Generate and uphold technical documentation (designs, test plans, architecture diagrams, deployment/runbooks) in sanctioned repositories.

• Ensure secure coding practices, automated testing, CI/CD processes, and compliance with 508 accessibility standards and CX validation.

• Work collaboratively with UX, data, DevOps, security, and program management teams; assist with briefings, demos, and technical evaluations.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Design and execute CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated software development and deployment processes.

• Incorporate security testing and compliance assessments into DevSecOps pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).

• Assist in migrating and modernizing legacy systems to cloud environments.

• Construct and enhance full-stack applications utilizing cloud-native architectures, merging contemporary frontend frameworks with scalable backend services and APIs.

• Partner with enterprise architects to establish scalable platform services that support AI and advanced analytical initiatives.

• Ensure that cloud solutions comply with federal cybersecurity standards, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and Zero Trust architectural principles.

• Implement secure identity and access management integrations consistent with EICAM and Zero Trust requirements.

• Aid in security monitoring, logging, and compliance reporting within cloud settings.

• Operate within Agile development teams to support the iterative delivery of HUD modernization projects.

• Collaborate with product owners, data architects, cybersecurity teams, and business analysts to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system design artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full-stack development experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Proficiency in front-end development, particularly in designing and coding user interfaces utilizing frameworks like React.js and React + TypeScript.

• Back-end development experience in crafting server-side logic with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET, and managing databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL while ensuring secure data handling.

• Strong command of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.

• Experience with cloud integration using cloud-native services, including serverless functions, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and managed databases.

• Familiarity with deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• API and service management skills in building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and connecting third-party services (payment gateways, authentication providers, etc.).

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Proven experience in implementing DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD automation.

• Knowledge of federal frameworks like 508, NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

• Capability to pass necessary Federal background checks and obtain and maintain government clearance and customer approval.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
