This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Lead the L2 Cloud Native Support Engineer team in handling complex tickets, escalations, and root cause analysis within the cloud native stack.
• Oversee service SLA/KPI monitoring, establishing improvement plans and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with business figures and clients' devops teams.
• Handle on-call rotation, capacity planning, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Act as a third-level support for managing the most critical or complex tickets.
• Serve as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for select clients and technological domains.
• Ensure availability for on-call duty coverage.
• Over 2 years of experience in Service Management or related fields (e.g., Technical Project Manager).
• More than 2 years of experience with leading infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), preferably with certifications.
• Over 3 years of experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah, Cloud Native Buildpacks).
• Established experience as an administrator or developer of applications in Kubernetes-based environments (e.g., Kubernetes, K3s, Rancher), preferably holding CKA certifications.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools for Cloud Native infrastructure such as Elastic Stack (Kibana, Logstash, Beats), or alternatively Grafana stack (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Promtail).
• In-depth knowledge of Service Management or Project Management standards, or associated certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, ITIL, FitSM, AgilePM).
• Preference for certification or demonstrable experience in:
• Solid experience with one or more major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM), particularly in managed Kubernetes services (e.g., Tanzu, EKS, AKS).
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration methodologies.
• Skills with one or more CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), even in the context of Cloud Native Continuous Delivery (e.g., Keptn, Flux, Argo, Tekton).
• Familiarity with tools for managing infrastructure automation - IaC - (e.g., Crossplane, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Service Mesh management tools (e.g., Istio, Kuma, or Linkerd).
• Understanding of Cloud Native networking (e.g., services, ingress controllers).
• Knowledge of Cloud Native storage (e.g., Container Storage Interface, controllers, storage service offerings from major Cloud providers, and usage in Kubernetes environments).
• Languages:
• Native Italian speaker.
• Good professional knowledge of English.
