Senior Cloud Integration, Data Modelling Consultant – Microsoft Fabric, Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Participating in a project focused on data integration and modeling, likely within the public health or healthcare domain in Portugal.

• Responsibilities include dimensional modeling, ETL development, database management, and creating reports/presentation layers utilizing the complete Microsoft data stack.

• The working model incorporates Agile delivery, organized in sprints and adhering to Scrum practices.

• The arrangement is based on service provision (prestação de serviços), fully dedicated, and primarily remote.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data and cloud-related projects.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure for data integration and modeling tasks.

• Strong skills in dimensional modeling — including star schema, data vault, or similar methodologies.

• Experience in ETL development — including design, construction, and maintenance of data pipelines.

• Proficient in database administration — SQL Server or equivalent, with a focus on performance and upkeep.

• Expertise in Power BI report and dashboard creation, encompassing both presentation and semantic layers.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) within a project delivery framework.

• Capability to operate independently across the entire data stack with minimal oversight.

• Certification requirements include: Azure Database Administrator Associate (mandatory).

• Certification requirements include: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (mandatory).

• Certification requirements include: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (mandatory).

• Certification requirements include: Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) (mandatory).

• English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level — functional written and spoken English is essential.

• Must be based in Portugal — preference for candidates in the Lisbon area, but not a strict requirement.
