Senior Cloud Engineer – Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will operate tailored products for Campact in collaboration with the Operations team.

• In the realm of cloud and hybrid-cloud, you will design and develop solutions utilizing Linux, Kubernetes, and associated technologies.

• You will assist in and design the migration from an internally developed platform to Kubernetes at the requirements level.

• You will be part of the on-call rotation and, alongside your colleagues, manage incident detection and remediation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in deploying infrastructure using the orchestration platform Kubernetes or other platforms such as Docker Swarm, OpenShift, AWS Container Service (ECS), or Google Container Engine (GKE).

• Proficiency with tools from the cloud-native ecosystem to effectively enhance a standard Kubernetes environment.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, build and configuration management, as well as with source code and artifact repositories.

• Ideally, familiarity with open-source projects and Ruby on Rails applications on a Linux stack.

• A passion for experimenting with new methods and tools in this field.

• Experience in preparing, implementing, and supporting web projects in teams, along with knowledge of Kanban or SCRUM.

• Ability to comprehend, document, and optimize complex structures.

• A desire to work independently while collaboratively shaping processes within the team.

• Clear and respectful communication in German (minimum CEFR level B2).
