Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Offering strategic direction and enabling technology-related decisions.

• Implementing projects through a cooperative, co-development approach.

• Assisting in cross-cloud migration efforts that emphasize core cloud infrastructure, managed services, networking, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD tools across enterprise settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience with GCP, encompassing essential services like Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.

• Solid understanding of VPC Networking, DNS, and concepts related to enterprise networking.

• Extensive knowledge of IAM, especially concerning Service Accounts, workload identity, and the application of the principle of least privilege.

• Experience with Kubernetes and technologies related to containerization.

• Practical experience with managed database services, such as Cloud SQL.

• Familiarity with prevalent DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD platforms like GitHub.

• Capability to write scripts and automate processes in at least one programming language.

• Proficiency in managing interactions with stakeholders and experience working with large enterprise clients in intricate environments.

• Previous experience in delivering or assisting cloud migrations between hyperscalers (e.g., migrating from Azure to Google Cloud or AWS to Google Cloud).

• Conversational fluency in English and comfort with utilizing video for meetings with both internal teams and clients.
