This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist customers in shaping their journey towards cloud adoption by providing both technical and strategic guidance throughout their “cloud journey”.
• Consult, plan, design, and implement data solutions for cloud customers.
• Create designs for AWS Data Lake implementations.
• Oversee database migrations to AWS Managed Services.
• Design and develop AWS Data Quality and Governance solutions.
• Become a trusted technical resource for our customers.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers to assist customers in their cloud initiatives.
• Drive innovation for customers by translating ideas into actionable strategies that yield measurable outcomes.
• Facilitate solution development by communicating customer needs and feedback to inform technology roadmaps.
• Share insights on real-world implementation challenges and recommend enhancements to capabilities through new and improved offerings.
• Support the creation of technical briefs that document solutions.
• Aid in the implementation of reference architectures.
• Contribute to brand development both internally and externally by engaging in thought leadership: Collaborate with Marketing/Alliances to write blog posts and develop internal case studies.
• Professional experience in architecting and operating Data / DevOps solutions based on AWS and Azure.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within the software/technology sector.
• Familiarity with Apache Iceberg.
• Knowledge of Sagemaker, SageMaker Lakehouse, and SageMaker Catalog.
• Proficiency in Terraform.
• Experience with database migration factories.
• Understanding of Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Athena, Redshift, EMR, Glue, DataBricks, and/or Snowflake.
• Experience in configuring and managing AWS Glue Data Catalog.
• Proficient in Python/PySpark for metadata automation.
• Experience with implementing data governance frameworks.
• Knowledge in developing metadata ingestion pipelines.
• Familiarity with DCAM/DAMA frameworks.
• Understanding of Lake Formation security models.
• Experience in designing enterprise taxonomies.
