Senior Cloud Consultant – Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing the technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs of customers.

• Spearhead initiatives in problem identification, system architecture design, software specification, testing, and deployment.

• Suggest and implement open-source solutions to tackle complex business challenges.

• Continuously acquire and apply new technologies to adapt to the evolving requirements of clients.

• Respond effectively to incidents, escalations, and critical issues.

• Provide clear and actionable recommendations that align with Red Hat's technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Linux system administration and performance optimization.

• Practical experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or analogous container platforms.

• Strong foundation in enterprise cloud implementations and business impact assessments.

• Experience with virtualization technologies in extensive enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with cloud management tools and platforms.

• Proficient in automation technologies such as Red Hat Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate value, progress, and project metrics to stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
