Senior Clinical Research Associate – Cardiometabolic, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the qualification of sites, initiation processes, interim monitoring, management of sites, and conducting study close-out visits.

• Offer mentorship and support to less experienced Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and site personnel as necessary.

• Record findings from site visits through detailed written reports.

• Evaluate, oversee, and instruct study site personnel on adherence to protocols as needed.

• Review safety information pertaining to study subjects and ensure informed consent is properly obtained.

• Perform source document verification to ensure compliance, safeguard patient safety, and confirm data accuracy.

• Examine Case Report Forms (CRFs) utilizing both paper and electronic data capture systems, and assist sites in resolving data queries.

• Provide necessary updates for site-related documentation to be filed in the Trial Master File (TMF).

• Ensure adherence to guidelines regarding the receipt, accountability, and return or destruction of investigational products (IP).

• Facilitate accompanied site visits for the assessment or training of other CRAs when requested and appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.

• A bachelor's degree from a four-year university or a Registered Nurse/Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN/BSN).

• Preferable experience in Cardiometabolic (Type 2 diabetes, Obesity, GLP1) and Oncohematology.

• Willingness to travel is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
