Senior Clinical Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Supervise and oversee clinical trial activities in accordance with the protocol, regulatory guidelines, and industry benchmarks.

• Lead clinical trial monitoring efforts necessitating technical expertise, emphasizing quality and ongoing enhancement.

• Assess clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

• Conduct site visits to evaluate performance, resolve challenges, and support effective trial execution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and precise data collection and reporting.

• Offer training and guidance to site personnel and other Clinical Research Associates (CRAs).

• Establish and nurture relationships with site staff and stakeholders to promote seamless trial operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a healthcare-related field.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.

• Experience in monitoring oncology clinical trials, preferably Phase I studies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management.

• Proficient in relevant clinical trial software and tools.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence and ensure compliance within a complex environment.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 60% of the time.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
