• May oversee department Clinical Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Clinical Trial Associates, and other support personnel.
• Manages cross-functional project teams formed from groups within clinical development to ensure high-quality clinical trial(s) that comply with all regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborates with functional areas on the initiation, planning, execution, control, closure, and resource management of clinical trial projects.
• Reviews protocols, source documents, and case report forms (CRFs), ensuring they are tracked to completion.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining project timelines for each initiative, using these timelines to monitor and manage project progress.
• Assesses study metrics for performance and quality in conjunction with the team and management.
• Prepares comprehensive reports (financial, project, etc.) for management regarding program status and any issues.
• Ensures a thorough review of the clinical electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) for completeness.
• May represent Ora at professional meetings or seminars.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science with a minimum of 7 years of clinical trial experience; years of experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• At least 3 years of clinical project management experience required.
• Experience in ophthalmology is preferred.
• Familiarity with multi-center drug and/or device trials.
• Experience with Veeva TMF and CTMS systems.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and vendor management.
