
Senior CardioVascular Surgery Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Increase market presence in Heart Valve, Cardiac Ablation, and Revascularization sectors within a designated territory.
• Meet quarterly revenue and unit targets.
• Conduct sales meetings to promote and sell Medtronic CardioVascular Surgery Therapies.
• Formulate and implement quarterly strategic sales initiatives.
• Generate comprehensive forecasts with commitments from customers.
• Identify, qualify, and secure both new and existing clientele.
• Target customers to create leads and expand business prospects.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of CardioVascular Surgery Therapy products.
• Observe and report on competitive activities, market fluctuations, distribution, and pricing strategies.
• Relay customer-driven product recommendations to R&D, Operations, and Marketing teams.
• Organize customer engagements during designated meetings.
• Train and instruct customers on the safe and effective use of products.
• Accurately and timely complete administrative reports.
• Efficiently manage territory time, assets, resources, and budget.
• Oversee inventory and assist with product redistribution and delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, Medtronic offerings, and competitor tactics.
• Engage in mandatory sales training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 8+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Relevant sales, clinical, or similar experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Attained Senior Representative level in another Medtronic Field Business.
• Preference given to local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
• Previous experience selling to surgeons is preferred.
• Experience in the Cardiac operating room is preferred.
• Proven success in a high-pressure sales environment is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Exceptional selling and negotiation abilities are preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to forecast results is preferred.
• Proficient in planning and managing accounts is preferred.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance are required.
• Driving record will be assessed as part of the application process.
• Must be willing and able to work and travel during weekends and evenings.
• Ability to transport products/equipment from vehicle to hospital.
• Capability to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to eight-plus hours daily.
• Must be able to travel frequently with ease.
• Must drive approximately 80% of the time within the designated territory.
• For foreign baccalaureate degrees, a degree meeting the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
• Positions below Principal level necessitate unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hiring and throughout employment.
