Senior Business Applications Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a thorough application security program in the absence of an existing framework.

• Assume complete responsibility for the security posture of over 200 business applications (including SaaS, cloud, and on-premise solutions).

• Establish clear definitions of what constitutes a 'secure' application and verify that each tool adheres to these standards.

• Integrate security measures into the procurement, integration, and lifecycle management workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from IT, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, and Marketing to foster a security-conscious mindset regarding application usage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Application Security or a similar position.

• Professional certifications, such as CISSP, are advantageous.

• In-depth knowledge of Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with SAML and OAuth protocols, in addition to SCIM.

• Skilled in using Okta Workflow or comparable automation platforms.

• Strong capability to facilitate discussions between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.

• Soft skills include change management, process enhancement, stakeholder engagement, and a collaborative approach with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
