Senior Brand Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and investigate distinctive, comprehensive brand identity systems grounded in strategic expressions of personality, archetype, and tone.

• Execute logo explorations, create competitive color palette options, develop typographic applications, and establish visual language for designated brands.

• Create guideline rules or toolkits that define attributes of the brand system.

• Adapt brand identity systems into formats appropriate for print, digital, motion, social, and experiential media.

• Collaborate closely with art and copy teams to iterate based on feedback and refine concepts.

• Create thorough brand identity design systems incorporating typography, photographic style, color, and conceptual graphic style.

• Generate design assets such as icons, infographics, diagrams, social media images, web layouts, slide presentations, and marketing materials.

• Assist with client deliverables across digital, print, video, social, and experiential platforms.

• Work in partnership with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Senior Designers, Copywriters, Project Managers, and Scientific teams.

• Report directly to the VP, CD, Art.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional design experience.

• Proven experience in branding or visual identity development.

• Background in creative or advertising agency settings.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• A portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals.

• A portfolio displaying typography and layout skills.

• A portfolio featuring initial examples of brand or visual system projects.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

• Familiarity with Figma is beneficial.

• Capacity to interpret feedback and implement revisions effectively.

• Comfort in working with technical or science-based content with guidance.

• A work portfolio is required for subsequent interview phases.
