Senior BI & Data Analytics Consultant – Tableau

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Join the Keyrus team to engage with global clients on cutting-edge Digital & Data projects!

• Facilitate business discovery workshops to convert reporting and analytics needs into scalable Business Intelligence solutions.

• Create and develop Tableau dashboards that provide operational insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Construct and enhance Tableau data sources, calculations, extracts, parameters, actions, and interactive visualizations.

• Implement Tableau performance optimization best practices to guarantee scalability, usability, and user adoption.

• Utilize SQL to verify, transform, and analyze data across various enterprise data platforms.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure that analytics solutions align with enterprise data models and pipelines.

• Assist in maintaining production BI environments through troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ongoing improvements.

• Document dashboard logic, calculations, semantic definitions, and publishing standards to foster governance and consistency.

• Participate in BI modernization efforts, including cloud migrations and platform transformations.

• Conduct client workshops, presentations, and Proofs of Concept that demonstrate the advantages of modern analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, or Analytics Consulting roles.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level is essential.

• Tableau, Snowflake, Microsoft, or Cloud Analytics certifications are regarded as beneficial.

• Advanced skills in designing and developing Tableau dashboards for both operational and strategic decision-making.

• In-depth understanding of LOD Calculations, Parameters, Actions, Filters, Extracts, and Live Connections.

• Advanced SQL abilities, including joins, transformations, data validation, performance tuning, and analytical querying.

• Experience with enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse architectures.

• Capability to collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design scalable and business-focused analytics solutions.
