Senior Backend Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and Develop Backend Systems — Create scalable and resilient APIs along with backend components that support web, mobile, and third-party integrations.

• Optimize Performance, Security & Compliance — Improve system performance, apply security best practices, and ensure compliance with AML, KYC, data privacy, and gaming regulations.

• Data Infrastructure & Analytics — Build and maintain data pipelines for analytics, fraud detection, geolocation, and regulatory reporting.

• Technical Ownership & Collaboration — Work together with product, security, compliance, and data teams to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Operational Excellence — Engage in incident response, monitoring, and root cause analysis to maintain system stability and security.

• Mentorship & Innovation — Disseminate knowledge among team members, advocate for best practices, and investigate emerging technologies pertinent to gaming, fintech, or AI fraud detection.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems.

• Expertise in API development, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure automation.

• Background in data pipeline architecture, analytics, and geolocation-based access controls.

• Capability to mentor junior engineers and influence architectural decisions.

• Knowledge of security, compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy), and system performance tuning.
