Senior Backend Engineer – Storefront, Tech & Data Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Designing and maintaining features and components that are customer-facing across Content Management, Advertising, and Customer Relations.

• Leading significant projects from the development phase to production launch, which includes enhancements of landing pages and the expansion of features for marketing campaigns.

• Implementing and maintaining both new and existing product features.

• Performing comprehensive automated unit and integration testing to uphold high-quality standards.

• Overseeing technical solution planning and ensuring that project objectives are achieved within the designated timelines.

• Collaborating and engaging with stakeholders and other engineering teams on essential projects and features for the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on PHP.

• Strong understanding of OOP principles, common design patterns, and intricate database structures.

• Proficiency in testing frameworks, particularly PHPUnit.

• Familiarity with popular PHP frameworks like Symfony is a plus.

• Experience in managing code and dependencies using Git and Composer.

• Practical experience with React is advantageous, though not mandatory.
