This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Engaging in backend development using Java within a network environment

• Converting network feature specifications from XML/XPath into Java-centric implementations

• Creating and enhancing backend services and APIs that facilitate automation workflows

• Incorporating AI agents into the development and automation processes (AI-supported code generation and validation)

• Maintaining code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing

• Analyzing and addressing bugs, performance challenges, and scalability issues

• Collaborating with engineers, QA personnel, and architects in an agile setting

• Taking part in code reviews and technical discussions

• Contributing to the continuous enhancement of development and automation workflows

• At least 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development

• Proven experience with backend systems and API development

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Strong knowledge of XML and XPath

• Experience with RESTful services

• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or agentic AI workflows

• Understanding of computer networks (switching, routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an agile team

• Proficient in English (B2+ level)
