Senior Backend Engineer – Python

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-7 years of practical experience in backend development utilizing Python and frameworks such as Django and Flask.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong technical expertise in architecting, designing, and developing robust web applications using Python.

• Experience in engaging in architectural discussions and suggesting innovative ideas for system enhancements.

• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (both SQL and NoSQL).

• Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Expertise in developing secure applications, including familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and various authentication and authorization protocols.

• Understanding of Python threading limitations and multi-process architecture.

• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across different systems, servers, and environments.

• Capability to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading, and maintaining existing systems.

• Background in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality.

• Ability to promote the adoption of coding guidelines, testing methodologies, and quality metrics across teams.

• Experience in fostering continuous improvement and best practices in backend development processes.

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide interns and junior engineers to produce scalable, high-quality solutions.
