Senior Backend Engineer – Platform Scalability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a specialist in scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large-scale deployments.

• Design, develop, and deliver exceptional, high-quality products.

• Write the majority of the codebase in Go.

• Collaborate closely with other teams at Teleport on issues related to scalability and performance.

• Work directly with customers to identify and resolve performance challenges.

• Master and judiciously apply advancements in the AI technology space.

• Enhance your technical skills.

• Willingness to collaborate with Teleport's engineers on a coding challenge in Go as part of the interview process.

• Extensive experience with Go programming.

• Significant background in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems.

• Experience in Linux systems engineering.

• Intellectual curiosity and a readiness to learn new technologies.

• Transparency, integrity, and a humble mindset.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes APIs. (Nice to have)

• Notable contributions to Open Source projects. (Nice to have)
