Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation of essential backend services for Opmed.ai’s product.

• Design and implement architectural enhancements to ensure scalability and reliability of our backend solutions.

• Develop and maintain schemas and data structures for our product.

• Create data integration processes and pipelines.

• Build ETL/Streaming processes to ingest and transform various data from customers.

• Set up scalable, efficient, and automated processes for extensive data analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer in a dynamic SaaS setting.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, ideally with Python, relevant web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask), and data manipulation libraries.

• Proficient in REST API design and development.

• Experience in a Cloud Native environment, particularly AWS, is essential.

• Familiarity with both relational databases, such as PostgreSQL/MySQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Strong knowledge of SQL with a focus on advanced analytics data orientation.

• Solid understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.

• Experience with code testing methodologies and frameworks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies.

• Proficient in using Git for source version control and issue tracking systems.

• Strong expertise in agile development with the ability to adapt to evolving business priorities.
