Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and support of novel access-related features for our Platform.

• Manage individual projects and milestones with clear communication of progress, providing technical guidance to the team.

• Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure high-quality code and compliance with best practices.

• Design and architect the infrastructure for new features, collaborating with peers and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain automated tests, while contributing to testing strategies and frameworks.

• Engage in engineering on-call support for services managed by the team and mentor junior engineers in this area.

• Support and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in writing high-quality software code in a collaborative environment utilizing Python or Go.

• Proven experience in the effective application of AI-enhanced software development.

• Expert understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.

• Comprehensive knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices.

• Familiarity with common security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.) and associated security best practices.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, including the design, deployment, and maintenance of highly available and scalable cloud solutions.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, alongside experience in optimizing deployment workflows.

• Strong grasp of design principles focused on scalability, performance, reliability, and security.

• Effective communication skills: able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences proficiently in English, and capable of mentoring others.

• A mindset geared towards continuous learning, with the ability to challenge oneself, apply new knowledge, and lead by example.

• Personal motivation and a proactive attitude towards completing tasks, including the capability to independently identify and resolve complex issues.
