Senior Backend Developer – Customertech, Adobe AEM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Development of AEM components, templates, workflows, publishing, configurations, and customizations.

• Configuration and customization of AEM assets.

• Migration of content and digital assets from legacy systems to AEM and AEM assets.

• Implementation of solutions based on Adobe AEM and AEM assets.

• Prototyping interactive interfaces with multiple states and roles.

• Collaborating with Architects to comprehend the design framework.

• Ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues and implementing strategies to minimize recurrence.

• Development within a fast-paced Agile Scrum Delivery Team environment.

• Demonstrating strong leadership abilities, including delivering constructive feedback and leading by example.

• Estimating development tasks.

• Managing and/or collaborating with remote teams/offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on AEM development experience.

• Practical experience as a Front-end or Back-end developer in AEM.

• Proficient in designing and building AEM components and working with JCR and AEM workflows.

• Proficient skills in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of utilizing AEM in cloud environments such as Adobe Cloud, AWS, or others.

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, J2EE, CSS, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, and Bootstrap.

• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.).

• Hands-on experience integrating AEM with other Adobe suite products, including Analytics, Target, Campaign, IO, and Launch.

• Experience in migrating from other CMS to the latest version of AEM.

• Experience in upgrading AEM (preferred).
