Senior Backend Architect – PK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Take charge of backend leadership at a lead level.

• Make independent architectural decisions.

• Design systems with a focus on long-term scalability.

• Transform unclear product requirements into backend solutions ready for production.

• Develop and sustain GraphQL APIs within a microservices framework.

• Oversee database design, optimization, and reliability in Postgres.

• Define the technical vision, beyond just implementation specifics.

• Establish and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually written code.

• Participate in system design, infrastructure choices, testing strategies, and enhancing developer productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Development.

• At least 3 years of expertise in Node.js.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Typescript.

• At least 3 years of experience working with databases.

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with NestJS.

• At least 3 years of experience utilizing GraphQL.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Postgres.

• Proficient in using AI tools within software engineering workflows.

• Capable of leveraging AI to enhance implementation speed, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving.

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
