Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, document, implement, and oversee a highly scalable and resilient Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Operate within a global framework encompassing over 200 Azure subscriptions, ensuring adherence to standardization and governance.

• Establish and manage security measures, including identity and access management (IAM).

• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Develop and sustain automation processes utilizing Terraform, GitHub, and scripting (Shell).

• Support and enhance the shared connectivity platform across various environments and clients.

• Optimize performance, availability, and costs within the cloud environment.

• Collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and platform engineering teams.

• Facilitate integration with CI/CD pipelines.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation regarding architecture, standards, and best practices.

• Provide specialized technical support for cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, and compute).

• Experience in managing large-scale, complex environments (multi-subscription).

• In-depth understanding of cloud security (IAM, policies, governance).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar technologies).

• Familiarity with GitHub / GitOps.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell, or similar).

• Experience in integrating with and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of cloud networking and connectivity architecture.

• Experience in optimizing cloud costs and performance.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.) are preferred.

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
