Senior AWS Software Engineer – TypeScript & AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Developer, you will leverage several years of expertise in software development.

• Play a key role in the design and growth of our innovative serverless, cloud-native software platform built on AWS.

• Develop scalable backend services utilizing Node.js.

• Establish and oversee efficient infrastructure through the AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK).

• Create contemporary frontend components using Svelte.

• Design, present, and assess technical solutions within an agile team framework.

• Formulate and review intricate cloud architecture concepts.

• Set technical standards and promote best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in complex AWS environments (EC2, Lambda, etc.).

• Deep understanding of cloud architectures, networking technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups), and cloud IT security.

• Demonstrated experience in development with Node.js.

• You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Excellent command of the German language at a native level (C2), both in written and spoken forms.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Nice-to-have: Experience within the online travel sector.

• Nice-to-have: Several years of experience in frontend development using Svelte.
