Senior AWS Cloud Engineer – Backend, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and integrate cloud components utilizing AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

• Create AWS Lambda functions with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Implement and manage automated deployments and cloud-native architectures within the AWS environment.

• Define, provision, and oversee cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

• Ensure that the infrastructure is versioned, reusable, and adheres to best practices.

• Develop and sustain backend services using C#, Python, or Node.js.

• Design and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth interaction with cloud services.

• Collaborate with frontend engineers using React to ensure that cloud and backend solutions effectively support frontend needs.

• Manage and configure AWS networking and security, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, IAM, KMS, security groups, and ACLs.

• Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and associated tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of practical experience with AWS in production settings.

• Significant expertise with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).

• Established experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).

• Backend development experience in C#, Python, or Node.js.

• Experience collaborating with React for frontend development and integrating with backend services.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and Linux/Unix systems.

• Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on quality and scalability.

• Proactive attitude and a sense of ownership.

• English proficiency: Intermediate.
