This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• You will take charge of designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Review and enhance existing frameworks based on industry best practices.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to optimize the test automation process.

• Report on the effectiveness and opportunities for improvement of automated tests.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software test automation.

• Strong knowledge of Java.

• Ability to structure, design, and plan test scenarios and test cases effectively.

• Familiarity with RestAssured.

• Experience in backend test automation.

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Capability to design and implement a test automation framework.

• Knowledge of best practices in test automation and conducting reviews of test frameworks.

• Familiarity with web technologies.

• Knowledge of web Spring.

• A strong desire to learn and share knowledge.

• Self-reliance, ability to meet deadlines, and possess strong analytical skills.

• Capability to work with minimal documentation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and understanding how automated tests fit into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.

• Experience with AI-powered tools for test generation, flaky test triage, coverage analysis, or test deduplication.

• Practical experience utilizing AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.

• Experience implementing GenAI in a structured manner within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations incorporated into daily tasks.

• Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g., agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development) with a willingness to explore and innovate beyond conventional approaches.
