This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Address intricate customer challenges through systematic troubleshooting grounded in expert understanding of SAP applications and technology within complex SAP environments.
• Collaborate closely with clients daily to grasp their requirements, facilitate business transformations, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Deliver remote functional support and training for your specific SAP modules.
• Assist with client customizations while providing implementation insights and best practices guidance.
• Develop application fixes to resolve critical product defects.
• Create scripts to detect, analyze, and rectify data-related issues.
• Oversee one or more key assigned accounts as a technical/functional consultant.
• Offer practical support using proprietary tools in a test environment or through remote client access.
• Actively contribute to a support organization that operates 24/7 throughout the year.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a virtual environment to leverage field experience across various client situations.
• 2-3 years of SAP experience, particularly with Basis, SAP R/3, ECC, SAP Netweaver, and SAP Knowledge Management, including full life-cycle implementation, configuration, and administration of the application.
• Over 2 years of direct support for application end-users in a corporate setting.
• Proficient knowledge of multiple databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MaxDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with various operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, etc.).
• Proven success in one or more SAP implementation or upgrade projects.
• Understanding of maintenance/patching processes and SAP architecture.
• Knowledge of transport strategies for portal content utilizing CTS+ (Enhanced Change and Transport System) or other SAP transport tools for JAVA-based development, including portal content, Dynpro content, and KM content.
• Configuration of Source Systems for BW, BEx Web in NW20004s.
• Experience with localization: architecture, implementation, and key functionalities.
• Installation, configuration, and administration of NWDI (NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) and NWDS (NetWeaver Development Studio).
• Management and administration of SAP J2EE Web Application Server.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as J2EE Visual Administration, Configtool, SDM, System Analyzer, and other configuration tools in the J2EE engine for portal components and applications.
• Configuration of Portal User Management Engine (UME) with SAP R/3 and LDAPs.
• Implementation of Single Sign-On between Portal and SAP Systems.
• Enabling SSL for Enterprise Portal and Knowledge Management & Collaboration.
• Setup of cluster installations for load balancing.
• Installation and configuration of Apache as a Reverse Proxy.
• Understanding of backup/recovery strategies for the portal.
