This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in medical record audits to evaluate coding precision and ensure compliant claims submissions.
β’ Support the development of coding and documentation audit methodologies.
β’ Analyze audit results to uncover trends and issues in coding practices.
β’ Keep abreast of relevant resources, publications, and ongoing government compliance activities.
β’ Proactively seek and achieve coding certifications (e.g., CPC).
β’ Create analyses utilizing transactional or financial data.
β’ Produce client deliverables and contribute to professional reports.
β’ Bachelor's degree (e.g., BS, BA).
β’ 0 to 2 years of professional experience with a proven interest in the healthcare sector.
β’ Preference will be given to candidates with medical auditing certification.
β’ Capability to research national coding and documentation standards.
β’ Understanding of the healthcare industry and payment systems; experience in report development.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
