This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct real-time monitoring of all exchange activities, security feeds, and product safety data to detect potential market abuses (such as wash trading and spoofing) while ensuring fair price discovery without manipulation.
• Oversee real-time market data to verify participant compliance with margin requirements and position limits.
• Employ surveillance tools and dashboards to identify anomalies and escalate any concerns.
• Perform post-trade reviews and forensic analysis on flagged transactions.
• Investigate potential rule violations by gathering testimony, compiling records, and drafting investigative reports for the Chief Regulatory Officer.
• Create comprehensive reports detailing findings and suggest appropriate actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., SEC, CFTC, FINRA, etc.) and internal policies.
• Assist in formulating responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of surveillance protocols and compliance frameworks.
• Support the enforcement of KYC/AML procedures and transaction monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to enhance surveillance systems and compliance workflows.
• Interact with external regulators and industry bodies as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Juris Doctorate.
• 4+ years of experience in Compliance within financial services, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Derivatives or Prediction Markets.
• Familiarity with both Traditional Finance (TradFi) and Cryptocurrency sectors.
• Knowledge of futures markets, commodities, and trading practices.
• Proficiency with Trade Surveillance Platforms is essential.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with market participants, federal regulators, and executive management.
• Understanding of futures exchange operations, trading, risk management, and related regulations.
• This position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
