Senior Architect, Secure Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Explore the essence of clients' challenges by collaborating closely with them to develop strategies, transformative designs, and an architectural vision for highly intricate solutions.

• Offer consulting services across various technologies, ensuring that the firm remains a leader in application software, infrastructure, and associated technology components.

• Create complex solution architectures tailored to business, infrastructure, or functional domains.

• Assess alternative architectures, considering cost, performance, and scalability to generate comprehensive specifications for both cloud-based and on-premises solutions.

• Lead the development of technical plans and design principles.

• Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather data, and deliver thorough analysis and problem-solving to foster trusting relationships.

• Keep an eye on the external environment to collect insights on emerging technologies and convey findings through reports and technology roadmaps.

• Design multiple perspectives to meet the needs of various stakeholders, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are addressed.

• Spearhead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and consistently refine and enhance designs.

• Contribute to the creation of new go-to-market services and provide expert input on relevant sectors.

• Mentor junior Solution Architects, encouraging a collaborative atmosphere.

• Develop comprehensive and integrated solutions that genuinely create a positive impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, operating systems, and infrastructure designs.

• Expertise in the deployment of specific infrastructures and application software in line with relevant methodologies and frameworks.

• Ability to utilize extensive specialist knowledge of reference architectures while staying informed on trends and advancements in technology sectors.

• Significant professional experience in technical, IT, or operational roles within a large-scale, multinational technology services setting.

• Demonstrated experience in client engagement, consulting, and change management.

• Experience in agile development environments.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, combined with outstanding interpersonal abilities for establishing strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales, product, and delivery.

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
