Senior Architect, AI, Information Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Offer design and architectural direction for enterprise-level security projects, system integration, and tools, particularly within the AI security sector.

• Act as the technical lead in the design and implementation of various cybersecurity controls, solutions, processes, and functions.

• Create and uphold secure architecture frameworks and patterns for various solutions.

• Collaborate and deliver throughout the project lifecycle, from project management and architectural design to the installation, configuration, and documentation of security solutions.

• Function as a business liaison and advisor for one or more business units.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• 8 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with at least three cybersecurity domains (e.g., platform security, application security, network security, infrastructure, cloud security, data security, and identity and access management).

• Experience with the infrastructure security of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.

• Extensive experience in designing secure architectures for LLMs, generative AI systems, RAG pipelines, and autonomous AI agents across various vendor offerings.

• Knowledge of threat modeling utilizing the STRIDE methodology.

• Understanding of AI threats and mitigation strategies, including OWASP Top 10 AI frameworks.

• Awareness of supply chain risks and attacks related to AI security solutions.

• Knowledge of secure DevOps practices against AI-specific threats.

• Proven experience in drafting technical documentation.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.

• Recognized as an authority in their field within the organization, applying broad technical expertise and possessing comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines.

• Capable of translating technical solutions into well-documented build guides and escalating issues to the appropriate management levels.

• Ability to mentor peers and provide necessary guidance for their success.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in interacting professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalating issues as needed.

• Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Compliance with all company policies and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety regulations) while ensuring safety measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.
