Senior Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our Android SDK to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.

• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers.

• Tackling compatibility and performance challenges across a diverse range of devices, from budget-friendly to high-end models.

• Implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to enhance development, testing, and release workflows.

• Conducting code reviews and offering constructive feedback to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating best practices and innovative solutions into our SDK.

• Proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks to ensure top-tier reliability and stability.

• Contributing to the strategic direction of our Android development initiatives, driving innovation and helping shape the future of Veriff's offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Android Developer, with a strong history of developing and maintaining high-quality Android SDKs or applications.

• Proficiency in Android frameworks, Kotlin, and Java, alongside familiarity with RESTful APIs and their integration into Android applications.

• Experience with Android testing frameworks, tools, and processes, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with experience optimizing performance across various devices.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset that encourages effective teamwork and continuous improvement.
