Senior Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-quality native Android applications utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Create clean and scalable user interfaces in accordance with Google’s Material Design standards.

• Collaborate across various teams including iOS development, product management, design, and quality assurance.

• Participate in architectural decisions, performance enhancement, and scalability forecasting.

• Integrate with backend APIs to ensure a stable data flow.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in Android development and new Android releases.

• Take responsibility for features and guide them from initial concept to final deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in native Android application development.

• In-depth knowledge of Kotlin and contemporary Android development methodologies (Jetpack, Compose, Coroutines, etc.).

• Strong understanding of backend APIs, authentication, and data persistence (REST/GraphQL, Room, Realm, SQLite, etc.).

• Experience with Android system architecture, performance tuning, and scalability.

• Practical experience with app deployment and distribution through Google Play.

• Familiarity with Git workflows, testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

• This position is fully remote for candidates located in Brazil.
