Senior Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on a daily basis with a skilled cross-functional team of Software Engineers and Product specialists to design and implement exceptional features for millions of users.

• Take charge of the complete development lifecycle, from influencing initial design and architectural discussions to ensuring a seamless release.

• Advocate for a user-centric approach, delivering value incrementally and ensuring that each update enhances customer experience and strengthens app resilience.

• Write elegant, high-performance, and dependable Kotlin code.

• Maintain our high standards for code quality by conducting thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and promoting our team's coding standards.

• Embrace the exciting challenge of international expansion by assisting in the launch and scaling of our Android application in the UK and Spanish markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in native Android development, with a strong command of Kotlin, the language used for our app.

• Practical experience with the modern Android ecosystem, including dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt, asynchronous programming with Coroutines, and testing with Espresso/Mockito.

• Proficiency in constructing robust app architectures utilizing Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, Room, and WorkManager.

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose for developing modern, declarative user interfaces.

• Knowledge of essential development tools, including Git for version control and Gradle for build automation.

• Strong English communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
