Senior Android Developer – InPost Mobile app

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold high-quality Android applications utilizing Kotlin and Java, while ensuring optimal performance, stability, and an exceptional user experience.

• Create scalable, maintainable solutions leveraging MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack, Compose, and Coroutines.

• Integrate Android applications with backend APIs, Firebase, and various third-party services.

• Revise and enhance existing code to boost quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.

• Engage actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Operate in an Agile environment, employing tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and issue-tracking systems.

• Generate and sustain clear technical documentation.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance development efficiency while exercising critical judgment and adhering to best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Android development.

• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK and its various versions, along with device configurations.

• Strong understanding of Google's Android UI design principles, patterns, best practices, and interface guidelines.

• Experience with Android Architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.

• Proficient in optimizing mobile applications in Java and Kotlin.

• Familiarity with Compose and Coroutines.

• Experience with Firebase configuration.

• Competence in working with API interfaces to integrate data and functionalities within mobile applications.

• Aptitude for problem-solving and proposing solutions independently.

• Capability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering solutions.

• Professional and proactive attitude towards assigned tasks.

• Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews, and CI/CD.

• Proficient in English at a professional level (minimum B2).

• Skilled in leveraging AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to boost productivity, accelerate development, and address complex challenges.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.
