Senior Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated applications for the Android platform.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code utilizing Kotlin/Java.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to outline app requirements and enhance user experiences.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Work with APIs, message brokers, databases, and cloud services to integrate mobile applications with backend systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and bugs.

• Keep abreast of the latest Android development best practices and emerging trends.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Ensure that applications adhere to security and data privacy regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Android application development.

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java.

• Profound understanding of the Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design principles.

• Experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture methodologies.

• Proficient in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.

• Solid knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).

• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

• Awareness of security best practices for mobile applications.
